IBM BladeCenter Server offers a broad range of storage and networking options integrated into the chassis to simplify
infrastructure complexity and manageability. It is a highly integrated system comprising of blade servers, storage,
management and networking options that help reduce management complexity, increase performance and energy-efficiency while
significantly reducing costs with a highly reliable and flexible design that deters the need for “rip and replace”
as capacity needs change.
Activities performed in Computer Centre using IBM BladeCenter Server
- In BladeCenter Server We are using Windows 2003 server, Windows 2008 server and Redhat Linux operating system by
configuring Active Directory service, Domain Name Service and Web services.
- Each server has the RAID mirror to secure the content of the university. To Create Domain policies which control the
users of the Computer System in proper way.
- The students using open source’s application method in Linux operating System through by activating Telnet.
